Easing has started and little by little things will begin to open as it continues baby step by baby step!
Does it feel that way to you? Do you feel safer than you did yesterday and ready to step into the outside world again? I certainly don’t and I know many feel the same. Myself and others are taking a wait and see approach and will be staying in the security of our own homes and routines for the time being.

Yes, we are safe in the arms of Jesus! How many times we should remind ourselves of this wonderful and overwhelming truth. We don’t feel safe and are so often swamped by life’s circumstances and worries which at this moment erode our peace and undermine our confidence in God. Only if we allow them though!
Psalm 40: 1-3 NLT 1 I waited patiently for the Lord to help me and he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.
Wait patiently on God and He will set your feet on solid ground once again even now when everything seems to be shifting around us. Gently and tenderly He will hold our hand and we just need to trust Him and go His way. Don’t despair, we are nearly there!
Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Psalm 28:7 (NIV) 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Prayer: Dear Father, in these days help our hearts to trust in You and to stand in the knowledge that You are our strength and shield.
Help us to recognise your presence as You continually guide and direct our lives.
We thank You and bless You, singing our songs to You as You lift up our hearts and our heads once again.
Praise your Holy name forever.
Amen

Can you help?
In this current situation when our church doors are closed to our normal activities but our work to support those in need continues, our normal source of funds (Sunday Tithes and Offerings) have reduced dramatically. We need your help, so that we continue to be ready to meet the ongoing needs of our community that will undoubtedly impact beyond this lock down period. If you are willing to help please visit our Just Giving Page to make a donation to this work. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/bedfordsa
